Adirondack Chairs
When I think of summer, I think
Adirondack Chairs. I think about
sitting amongst the sea grass near
the New England seashore looking
out over the lusty surf or watching
the fish splash out of the water
from the dock overlooking a private
lake in the Midwest or sipping a
glass of lemonade while sitting on
a shady Southern porch.   I think
about setting a spell watching the
Elk walk into the basin below from
a log cabin nestled in the mountains
of the West.   I remember the lazy
days of summer, vacationing in the
Adirondack mountains with my
family as we sit in a circle of
Adirondack chairs adorning the
front yard of a quaint little Inn.

For nearly one hundred years, the
chair with the distinctive sloped
back, deep slanted seat and wide
arms has symbolized the restful
calm of summer leisure while
reminding us of simpler times.
